Tiffs Big day and a Mis-hap in the juniors dept.

So, Tiffanys wedding really snuck up on me.... I had been so excited for this event, for a long time. Who would have thought i would have been hit by the "swine flu". Well, not really but since its the hype and EVERYONE seems to be getting it, i figure, why not me! LOL... We started with bringing the beautiful bride breakfast in bed, it didnt work out exactly like i had planned, but close enough. Then i rushed home to do what i do best, PUMP!!! Yes, thats right 10oz for my baby. Then it was off to get my hair done. Not feeling to hot, I thought maybe an iced tea would do the trick, that ALWAYS makes me happy.... Well, not today! :( ALthough my hair turned out BEAUTIFUL, i felt like a bag of balls! I thought well, maybe it is my nerves? Off to Macys to get my make-up done, I love to get primped so this was gonna be so much fun, right?? Well, half way through my make-up i had to excuse myself to the restroom, unfortunately i didnt make it all the way, and tossed my cookies right their in the juniors dept. Then went outside and tossed some more. Feeling better i went back and finished my make-up. WOAH, not a good start right!? I arrived at the church at about 12:10... ready to be one of the brides right-hand man! She looked gorgeous of coarse... But everyone was just hanging out trying to relax. At this time, i am feeling 10x better and ready to PARRRRRTAAAAY!

The pics looked beautiful, the weather was GREAT, and the ceremony was Perfect!!!! Although, the groom didnt quite understand the terms "please repeat after me" He was more concerned about getting the damn ring on! LOL.... Pics after the ceremony and off to the reception... TO FOLLOW!!!!!!....

Easter Encounters

AWWWWW...this is my son, damn he is sooo cute...... Mr. Smiley!

Have you seen these people.....? I am not sure but it looks as though they are a little stuck in the past.... hahahah. These are my in-laws... i love them very much.


This is how i spent my easter... Also, Colin met his 2 cousins for the 1st time...What an experience... here is carson and colin hanging out on the couch. They look like 2 old men.... with NO necks...

Labor and Delivery...and a month later!!!

I know...I know, it has been a little while since i have blogged. So I am NOT pregnant anymore...hehe, and i finally got to meet my son.....COLIN!

Labor and Delivery...HMMmmmmmmm... where to start. I was pretty scary. Here is me waiting... lookin super fat! The gown is in no way shape or form very flattering!!!
The roughest part was.....THE WHOLE THING! I went in on Monday the 16th and they were to induce, one thing led to another, and my contractions were comin one after another and very strong! About 9pm or so, my parents and Britt were there.... The nurse assured them there was going to be activity for a while. My parents left around 10 or so, and Britt stayed till about 1230am. Once my parents left they gave me this drug to "take the edge off" who would have thought it turned me into a crazier person... I was not only singing songs and telling my husband to "zip-it" i hit on the anesthetic doctor... Dr. Hef, and told him he smelled soooo good (that was one of my low points!!)

When Britt left the nurse assured us again that it was gonna be more like 6am at the rate i was going, I was dialated to about a 5 i believe. About an hour and a half later, i told the nurse that i was in much pain and that i was sure i was in serious labor, she was convinced herself i was maybe dialated to a 5.5 but she would look anyways. Sure enough, I was ready!!! Dialated to a 10 and ready to go. Chirs made the 2 phone calls, 1 to my mom and the other to Britt... They were there by 230 and the real fun began.... Britt was the ONLY one who could get my towel cold enough on my head ( chris tried, but he was not hired) that was her job! The doc came in about 310 or so... and i did 3 sets of pushing and the baby was out. It seemed like a very quick process after that!








Colin is 5 weeks old today, who would have thought i could last this long. He is so much work, yet so damn cute, I love him more than i can describe ( i know what a cheeze ball). He had his 1st St. Paddy's day, and looked super cute in an outfit that G-Ma and G-Pa (chris's mom and dad) gave him. He and I went to our mommy and me class, and then he hung out with his buddy Zachary, who is 1mo and 3 days older than Colin....

JUST WAITING.......

Today is nothing but a waiting game. Today, Febuary 5th was 1 of 2 due dates they gave me, also My grandmother-in-law Iris Schindhelms Birthday! I am feeling quite "bloated" and ready to meet my new son. Time is slowing down. I am sure he will want to arrive at 2am, when i have just fallen asleep for the 2nd time ( after using the restroom for the 3rd time all night).

I am also VERY excited to let you all know, at this point I am 50% efaced and 1.5 centimeters (or so.....) dialated. I need to be about a 4-5ish to even think about going to the hospital!

Here is a video of Colin at his 3-d appt. He looks a little alien-ish, but we will have to look beyond that! lol. In the video he is covering his face and at one point he is yawning and possibly waving good bye, you have to know what you are looking for... Looks as though he already has a stubborn personality, like his MOM!
